Two of the most respected and knowledgeable figures in the UK music management world – Jon Webster and Stuart Worthington - will be giving a masterclass event at the York Street Campus of University of Ulster on Thursday 30th April. They will be joined by local manager/label boss Andrew Ferris who recently secured a 5 album deal with Atlantic Records for Derry band Fighting With Wire.
Stuart Worthington is recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on music management and has also managed a range of artists including The Happy Mondays. Jon Webster is currently the Chief Executive of the Music Manager’s Forum and has huge experience in the industry including instigating the Mercury Music Prize and heading up the Virgin Record label. Andrew Ferris is CEO at Smalltown America Records and currently manages And So I Watch You From Afar.
This event will provide those attending with invaluable advice and guidance on a wide range of the management issues and practices in the current music industry.
