LaFaro Play Mason's This Friday!

LaFaro return to Masons venue for a headline performance on Friday 26th March. With constant airplay on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 evening show over the past fortnight, a debut album via Smalltown America in the can, a slot as the main support act on And So I Watch You From Afar's forthcoming UK tour, and two sold out album launch shows in Belfast next month, this is a great time to catch one of Northern Ireland's premier underground Rock bands on the ascendency.

Featuring Johnny Black on Lead Vocals & Guitar, Herb Magee on Bass & Vocals, Dave Magee on Guitar & Vocals and Alan Lynn on Drums, LaFaro are a hard rocking outfit with a brain. As heavy as The Cancer Bats, yet as cerebral as the Pixies, this is most certainly a show you cannot afford to miss.

Support on the evening comes from rising Belfast alt-rockers The Rupture Dogs and local upstarts No Mean City. Doors are at 10pm, with tunes being spun from 10, first band at 11. Admission is £4 with drink promos on the night.

Club:STA presents The Voiceless

We are delighted to announce details of our very first club night to take place in Northern Ireland. In association with Masons Bar, Club:STA will have a monthly residency in their upstairs venue. Our aim is to showcase the best underground talent in Northern Ireland as well as that from further afield.

Our launch night will be on Thursday 23rd April. We are delighted to confirm And So I Watch You From Afar as the headlining act. As well as being our own launch night, this event will also serve as the Derry launch for ASIWYFA's forthcoming album, copies of which will be available on the night. Also on the bill will be Derry-based minimalist-electronica artist Mezzanaesia. We will be announcing further additions to the lineup in the next few weeks.

You can buy tickets for the show right now @ We Got Tickets.

Oh, and we have a poster for the show as well. Designed by illustrator/genius/maverick Matt Littler - we will be releasing a limited batch of exclusive prints for sale after the event. Take a look!
